If that's an orig battery replace it 6years old good God

but mine cranks until it starts to click... but do i have to with a harley battery? can i buy something from autozone?

That's because the starter is using all of the amps the battery has left to turn over the motor. There is not enough additional amps left in the battery to fire the ignition.

Charge your battery, have a shop do a load test, if it passes, charge again. Put in bike, start bike then do a charging system test. The stator on my 02 failed after 8k miles. If it is the original battery you got a good life out of it.

usually don't keep one for more than two years.......sucks when your miles from home and the bike dies!

Hi, I'm new to this so please bare with me. When your stator blew did it make a noise? I was riding my 06 Dyna Low Rider the other day and I heard a loud bang down below, after the bang my check engine light and the battery light came on. Any idea's?

whatever you do, do not buy a battery from an auto parts store. Buy one from the moco, or an indy.
