Default So I made my decision!!!

As you may know I have been going back and forth on buying a RKC or Heritage. Rode both bikes and made my decision. I put the down payment on the RKC.

Both bikes road great, and I couldn't find much wrong with either. The reason I went with the RKC was due to the fact that I could get ABS and Cruise. The other thing was the RKC felt more like a Harley. Coming from a Sporty the vibration at idol was not an issue for me.

When I got up to 70 or so the King was a smoother ride, and the handling was great. I was nervous that going from the Sporty to a King or even the Heritage that the added weight would be an issue. This was no issue at all. The RKC was very stable at low speed.

The color I got was Deep Turquoise & Antique White. Bike is being shipped next week, and I will pick it up next Saturday.

One question I do have is: How is Harley credit? I have been approved by my Credit Union, but did a credit app with HD to see what the can do. Credit is very good.

The only bad thing is that my reward is spending the day tomorrow cleaning out the garage. Oh Joy.

Pics will be posted as soon as I get them. Thank You everyone for your feedback to my questions.

Congrats on the new ride, you'll love the RKC!

HD credit likely wont be as low as you local CU. I've even heard stories of HD charging 19% interest rates recently.

Congrats ! If you want a bike with bags, you may as well get the one with the best and most options.

RKC's are usually the bike of choice over the Heritage

Your CU is probably the best way....mine was 4.99% versus the best rate HD had at 7.99(I don't think HD would have actually given me that rate though). On a positive note for HD, they did get me an insurance policy for half what my regular insurance company offered...$474/year.

Great choice! The RKC is one sweet ride. The credit union is probably your best bet.

You made the right choice IMO. RKC is one of the best HD rides out there. I had a softail and now own a Ultra Classic. RKC was a serious consideration for me. I just had to go all the way this time. No regrets.
