Default Ultima 6 speed trans, what oil?

The title says it all. Was using a simple synthetic 20-50, but was told a 75-90 or even an 80-140. Any suggestions?

I run Bel-Ray 85-140. I do not believe it is better than anything else, I use it cause it's red, and that way, when the earl drips outta the pan or shovel, I know, which comparment it's coming from, and that it needs to be ignored.

Simple (?) motor oil is designed for 'sliding' properties, where as gear lubes are designed for 'shear' properties.
