Harley mastercard
Got a solicitation in the mail to apply for a HD mastercard. I'm kinda interested since it claims gives you points for each dollar charged. 2500 points give you a $25 dealer credit. It states there is no point limit so I'm thinking $10,000 in charges = $100 credit. The interest rate was kinda high at around 13.5% but I pay my balance off every month so that's not a concern. The payback sounds nice since I use a credit card a lot for convenience. I don't think there was a yearly fee. Anybody have this card and used the credit?

Greetings,
I use it for a lot of things but pay it off every month. You are correct...There's no point limit at all, but they do expire 3 years after they have been accumulated. I've bought parts with the chrome cash and have had no issues with it at all at the dealer.

Not Mastercard?
Isn't the HD charge card VISA (not Mastercard)? That's what I have and use it for almost everything. Pay off balance each month...good for 'chrome cash' $25 credit at HD shops for every $2500 spent.

I have it it is a great card use if for everything I buy every day and then pay for it in full at the end of month so there is no interest. Used to use amex for this but decied I would use the 1% back towards stuff for the bike, have gotten a lot of chrome this way.

I have one and split all my purchases between it and my MilesOne card. We also make sure to pay off the balance each month, otherwise all those "free" things end up costing an arm and a leg!

I use my HD Visa card all the time. It seems to take 4 to 6 weeks to get your chrome certificates from the time you request them and I believe there only good for 3 months of the date issued. So order them ahead of time and use them up, my dealer will let me put them on my account so they wont expire on me.
