I wear a Arai,, fullface all the time, 2 times now I have had a get off where a Arai has saved my bacon for me..once doing 55 MPH and Once in town doing 20 MPH..I beleive in them!! But I also beleive in "let them that ride decide" I have never had anybody give me crap for wearing one when I'm on my Harley..most beleive as I do, "let those that ride decide"[sm=biker.gif]

Full face Arai Profile while on tour, sometimes in town. 3/4 HJC AC3 usually in town. The full face offers protection against the rain, etc. It gets a little hot sometimes, but I do not get a funky sunburn! Everybody should have the right to choose whether or not to wear a helmet. But I do believe in protecting the ol' "Hard Drive".....it's the only one I've got....and I've seen some heads that wish they'd have had some protection when the melon hit. I've seen some helmets after the accidents that occured, and some of those face shields were almost sanded through from the pavement. It'll make a believer out of a person in short order.

I wear a shorty GERMAN. It's not DOT, just a novely, and I cut the padding out and formed the inside with duct tape to make it sit as low as possible on my head when riding. Basically the only good it would be in a wreck is to keep my brains from messing up the street.
