Threadlock ?

Default Threadlock ?

Just used blue on a part. A few days later I had to undo that bolt but was told I did not have to reapply, that it was already on there. Wouldn't I have to reapply some more each tiem I loosened the bolt?

I clean the old dried stuff off and put new on each time.

The answer is yes ,you do have to reapply it,plus if its a bolt that you are using a torque wrench on ,as Pat stated you must clean the old stuff off and apply new.

No torque wrench.
See, that's what I always thought, but the mechanic told me the above.

Never hurts to torque your nuts every now and again !!!!!!!And if you don't have a spec use German Spec ....Gutentite!Torque the world I say![sm=happy046.gif]
