RE: who makes harley helmets ?
Go to the HD Motorclothes website and click on the helmet of your choice and it will tell you the brand. The brands that I see most often are KBC, AGV, and HJC.

HJC, KBC, AGV....
Goto H-D.com and click on the helmet you want. Then look at this part: Helmet bag included. Meets DOT Requirements. HJC, 3 lbs. 6 oz.
This is my helmet, and if you read the description it is a HJC helmet.

Elwood...
How do you like that helmet?
Is there any difference between the H-D "System Full Face Helmet" and the HJC "Symax Flip-Up Modular Helmet?"

i think the Symax Flip-Up Modular Helmet will come in handy. not just when u want to take a drink on the road but if u want more air and openness just flip it up.. i think i am gonna go that route with my full face purchase.. the reason why i asked who makes there hemlets is because there 1/2 helmet fit like a glove unlike the fulmer i just bought

I don't wanna pee in your Cheerios but my wife and I both have the Symax helmet. It's a great helmet, BUT... You cannot ride with the chinbar up. 1 it will rip your head off and, 2 it throws the balance of the helmet off really bad and will give you neck pain in about 2 minutes. It's great for when you stop... just don't buy one thinking you can ride with one while it's open.
Sorry.
Sorry.

It's been a great helmet so far.. The foam is a bit tight against my sunglass's ear piece, but it's wearing in there and feeling better every day.
As for the flip up part: this one isn't meant to be used up. At low speeds it's ok, but after that it wants to pull your head off.
Being able to have a quick red light smoke with a full-face helmet on.. Priceless.

I read the question wrong... dah!
I have the HJC one, I went and tried it out at the HD dealer then saved $60 bucks buy getting one on-line without the HD logo. Then payed $5 bucks to buy an aftermarket HD logo for it

The Harley Steath Full Face Modular (flip up) is the KBC FFR Helmet with Harley graphics. You can get the KBC FFR for up to about $50 cheaper than the Harley version. However, many of the KBC vendors have the FFR priced higher than the Harley Stealth Modular price. Anyway, very nice helmet. I have the Black Harley Stealth Modular with silver flames. It is very comfortable and has plenty of ventilation.
