I have panoptx dark in the day and light in the night. Second pair i like them. I have allergys and they help keep wind out of my eyes.

Wildman sounds like beer goggles to me. Or were you trying for a 3D effect. LOL Luckily you made it home cause I hear there are ghosts in Gettysburg.

Question for all of you Wiley X Climate Control wearers. I picked up a pair today. My old glasses would bounce around in the Kansas Wind. I fixed that and certainly have better overall eye protection now without sacrificing quality. Problem is I have lost some of my peripheral vision due to the foam insert and the goggle effect it creates. How long did it take you to adjust to the change in peripheral vision? Do you ever? I have 7 days to take mine back if I don't like them.

Panoptix, good for day or night and cold weather, no glare, sealed eye cups. $145.

I also like the WileyX transitional. I have the brick. I love the foam, keeps most of the wind and dust out of my eyes. You can ride right from sun to night without changing them. I never noticed any affect on my peripherial vision though

One thing to remember, I have always been told you get what you pay for, especially with sunglasses. You absolutely cannot get the proper sun protection from a $5 pair of sunglasses. It does not block out the harmful rays, and will damage the eyes. When it comes to using them in the day, you will probably have to pay a steeper price to protect your eyes. These dark $5 safety glasses people get from there jobs do NOTHING to protect from the harmful rays, they go right through the lenses. The more expensive ones will protect your eyes.
