BOULDER — Police said a Boulder County driver used his car door to hurt a motorcyclist in a road-rage attack.
Daniel Kris Rodriguez, 25, is accused of hitting the unnamed motorcyclist with his car door Saturday afternoon. The motorcyclist was slammed into a median, suffering minor head injuries.
Rodriguez fled the scene and led police on a short chase but was arrested in Erie. The motorcyclist was expected to recover.

From the title of the story, I instantly thought that the car driver opened the door to spit out some chewin' tobacco and hit the biker. Holy cow...intentional, even more surprising is it happening in the tree huggin- love everybody town of Boulder. I hope the biker is okay.

Not surprisingly there was no mention of this incident on this evenings news as it occurred saturday afternoon. They may have covered it sat eve or yesterday.
There likely will be no more about it unless the biker dies of his injuries which is unlikely or the perp is charged with more than assault.
Will keep eyes and ears open.
