Default Guardian Bell

Just wondering, How many riders have one on thier bike.

Legend has it that Evil Road Spirits have been latching themselves on to motorcycles for as long as there have been bikes on the road. These Evil Road Spirits are responsible for mechanical problems and bad luck along a journey.

Legend goes on to say that by attaching a small bell onto your bike, the Evil Road Spirits will become trapped inside the bell where the constant ringing drives them insane, making them lose their grip until they fall to the ground. (Ever wonder where potholes come from?)

Legend also has it that the mystery of the Guardian Bell carries twice as much power when it is purchased by a friend or loved one and given as a gift.

Do a search on the subject. I believe everybody has one.

I don't have one yet. I've hinted, but won't come right out and ask my family for one. Legend has it that you dramatically reduce its power unless it's an unasked for gift.

SuprBama. Do a search, on top of the page. We recently discussed this topic. F.Y.I. I have one and like it. It was a gift. Would never buy one myself though. I'd like to know if this is a cruiser thing, or do crotch rockets wear them as well?

The day i picked up my bike my wife bought me one. Her brother passed away 4 yrs. ago at the age of 42. not only was he my brother-in-law, but he was my best freind since the 7th grade. the bell she got me has angels on it. When she gave it to me she said Steve would be watching over me when i'm on the road. Then the first place i rode to was the cemetary, just to let him know i finally got my harley.

Thanks SuprBama, his passing made me realize how fragile life really is, and to make the most of everyday, because tomorrow might not come.

I got one, and my brother has my old one- I gave it to him when he got his sporster running again after an encounter w/ a ditch. In turn, he got me a new one.
They're both POW/MIA

Yea I got a bell but I havent put it on yet, I'm still listening for strange sounds coming from the engine. Anyone here old enough to remember when you could paint your bike any color but green? Green was said to be unlucky. I still wont get on a green bike....................BG
