never dull is the ticket. Don't let it get too corroded before you clean it. I had a victory jackpot with lots of polished aluminum. A real bitch to keep clean and shiny. The aluminum will also pit, can't fix that.

I've seen great results on fixing the pitting here on this site. I had OK results (which was fine by me since my bags basically hide the rear wheel) but then again I was on limited time and the wheels stayed on the bike.

Masters Formula. it will make your alluminum shine like chrome with very little effort. Once you seal it, it will last several months without having to redo.

Its all I use onAluminum or Chrome, and it works wonders.

I found a product called Metal Gloss, its the only thing that makes the solid aluminum rear wheel on my Softail shine like chrome.
