Cam specs.

RE: Cam specs.
I've noticed harley is kinda good about things like that, They only tell you what they want you to know. I guess they want to make it harder to shop the SE stuff agenst companies like Andrews or Crane. I mean it would alot easier to research a cam choice if you know where your starting from. I ask a guy at the parts counter at a HD dealership what the lift and dur was on a SE204; His anwser was, "It don't matter does i?" I said well yes it matters that will tell me where it make its power. His reply witha blank look on his face was "hell man you gonna have to ask someone smarter than me I just sell parts." So I turned to a bottle of wax on the shelf next to the counter and ask it the same question[!][:@]

I don't know the lift and duration, (probably should) but I have the SE 204's and the range appears to be low to mid. Great roll on power and it feels like it really takes hold above 2000 rpm. Just my impression, I like 'em.

RE: Cam specs.
I have come to believe 99% of Harley Parts counter workers know little or nothing about our bikes. Minimum pay=minimum knowledge

RE: Cam specs.
I agree with PhilM .Older harley catalouges have all cam spec's this years has only 203's is this the begining of screaming eagle conforming to future emisions?? This years catalouge also does not show the screaming eagle hole shot primary chain and gear somethings up..................
