Have any of you bought a new H-D below MSRP? No dealers around here sell for MSRP and some higher.

I never bought any motocycle, atv, boat, car, truck etc. for MSRP always under, usually quite a bit under.

I am looking @ the 2010 Wide Glide. Noone will budge. I find it hilarious that one dealer still has a NEW 2005 yes a 2005 that never sold and still asking MSRP for the 2009 price of this bike, the same dealer has two 2007 and 3 2008's same thing! You would think they would at least come down on the price of a bike that sat in a show room for almost 5 years.

 

Just bought a 2010 Ultra and they wouldn't deal much on them.I was told if I was interested in a 09 he would give a discount.They really want to move the 09s.

 

A new '05 Harley. That is almost unbeliveable. Where IS this "dealer"?

My wife just bought a 2009. They moved for her but not much.

 

I bought a 2009 Ultra Classic with ABS and security for $1900 off MSRP. The dealership had two left at the time and already had in a few 2010's.

 

I bought an 09 with 6 miles on it and got for 1100k under MSRP

 

Sounds like deals are out there...just gotta find em

 

The 2010 FXDWG with the flames really caught my eye. Infact I cant get it out of my mind.
I just wanted to see what others were paying.

Just this year I bought a $31k truck for $24.5k, a $17k RV trailer for $11k. And a $7k ATV for $5.7k. All of this was before all of the super deals you see and clunker cash deals etc came out.

I never bought a new Harley but I have bought and 2 used ones. Just seeing if I went in with cash what they would be willing to do. FWIW they were willing to take $2,900 off a new Buel Ulysses all bagged out.
