threads up on seat, or am I the only one to leave them on the pump EVERYTIME and had to come up with a way not to forget it, sit on it and u will remember it quickly.

I place it on my glove...which is laying on the seat.

 

Grab a paper towel and put the cap threads down on top of the pump (most pumps are dirty).

 

Chrome side up on the pump. wipe it off with a towel before putting it back on if it makes you feel better. my seat won't hold anything. Everything slides off it.

Kind of a funny story -
In my pick-up truck, I broke the gas cap tether as it didn't allow the cap to spin very free. So I've been in the habit for years of sitting my cap on top of the pump. Getting gas in wifey's car one day, instinct kicked in and I grabbed the cap sitting on top of the pump and installed on her car. Went to close the fuel door and realized her cap was still hanging there. I grabbed a cap someone left on the pump. And not just any ol' cap - a locking cap I obviously didn't have a key for.

That was just about the worst video ever. If you forge tit on top of the pump, you'll probably foget it on the floor...

That's why I always carry a roll of duct tape and tape it to my forehead. I'd be hard pressed to forget ot put it back in, and if I do forget, then when I realize it's not in, atleast it's stuck to my forehead.
