All I am saying is that if ACC "Headtrip" wants to be totally honest in their advertising of a $175 dollar helmet, then lets see some straight on pics of the DOT helmets on a fat guy. Believe me, there is a reason that they do not do this.
5’6” 235lbs…..fat enough? LOL
Here’s ya a couple shots from last week…… I LOVE my ACC! I don’t ever see anyone mention it, but it allows me the freedom to be able to look around at highway speed without my head being ripped off and I think that really adds to safety when riding when you aren’t deterred from turning your head to look for traffic before changing lanes.

Saw this after I posted and I'm having the same problem. I can get the strap tight enough under my chin that it seems like the helmet should not lift, but when I get on the highway, I find myself shoving it back down on my head every 30 seconds. Not fun, or safe.
I thought my ACC was going to do this too at first when I got it. Just like the old Bell Drifter that I was replacing it with.
You’ve got to move the rings in the straps forward so that the front straps that go up around your ears are shorter – that way when you tighten the straps it pulls more in the front and keeps the front down. I have to periodically adjust mine, but it’s not like every week or anything. Maybe once a month if that.
I can take pictures of what I’m talking about if it’s not understood. Those rings will move if you loosen up the straps and you’ve just got to sinch them forward.
Just called Headtrip and they are not taking orders for the DOT helmets at this time.
She referred me to two companies that sell their helmets.
Biker Helmets 407-574-2434, I spoke with Mark. He had the helmet I wanted, style color and size and quick release buckle. Also they honor the Forum 10% discount. Total was 178.50 including 12.00 shipping. Also they have the same 30 day return policy as Headtrip. The other company, I did not call. Iron Braid 518-674-0100. I do not know if they honor the discount or what their shipping rates are.

Received the helmet yesterday, nice helmet but not any smaller or lighter than my ZOX Alto. I called and requested a refund. No problem from Biker Helmets. ZOX helmet is less expensive and I really like it, just thought the Head Trip would be allot smaller and lighter. Either way great customer service from Biker Helmets.
Here is a link to ZOX if anyone wants to see what they look like.
