What are you asking?? If your asking what oil can you use in place of the HD oil, just about any brand synthetic is better than HD version, it's not a true synthetic anyway. You will start a war with this question, so do a search, you will get many recommendations.

Thanks. I was told that Kendall made the Harley oil. Just wondering if that was true.

yep the harley syn sucks, just go to auto zone and pick up the cheapest synthetic 20 50 you can find or go to wal mart and get the 15 50 mobil 1 in gallon jugs for $22

These should be the only fluids beside premium gas that your scoot will ever need.

Nope... Citgo (as in Hugo Chaveze) makes all of Harleys lubricants. I know that for a fact. I went to a town hall meeting at a annual HOG rally and one of the Harley execs reluctantlly admitted it. It's also on there MSDS. Sunoco made there old Powerblend oil before citgo took over

I use Mobil 1 in everything I own including the lawn mower. Never had a problem.

a lot of harley guys in our area run yamalube in there bikes. it is good ****.

but seriously as long as what ever you buy says that it is spacificly for a motorcycle you should be fine. regular automotive oil is not ment to run at motorcycle temps. any one who says it is is just misinformed.

What do you guys run in the winter? I run Mobil1 15w-50 which is good to below the 30's, which is about as low as I ride anyway. That still seems a bit thick for winter use.

In the winter I still run 20 w 50 but I keep a small heater under the bike to keep the oil warm.
