Default Upgrad to 95 Inch

Ok here I go. I have a 2006 Harley Electra 88 inch I am looking to make some upgrades. The first thing I would like to know is what is the difference between boring the stock cylinders, and buying a 95 inch kit with piston and cylinders. Are the kit cylinders thicker? Next I am thinking Andrew gear 26 cams and adding a fueling oil pump and camp late, and some head work.

Less down time, more money.

Nope, same cylinders just already bored.

Check your crank runout to make sure it's .003 or less (preferably .002 or less). Andrews 26G's work well at 9.5:1 compression so if doing headwork shoot for that and let the shop know that you would be using a .030 head gasket. Also check and see if it would be a cheaper route for you to use the upgraded HD pump/plate kit instead of using the Feuling stuff.

Most important thing to do is make sure all parts compliment each other when planning a build. What tuner do you plan on using?

I didn't need a cam plate or a new fuel pump unless you have a problem currently but I did the Andrews 26G cams in 2005 on my 2004 Ultra and this winter I am having the shop bore the cyclinders and adiing Flattop pistons and Heads custom ported for this application. With out the head work the bike peforms alright but the power is all done around 4200 RPM.

My 95 was done at 30000 miles. The stock pump was good and saw no need to replace it.
Now with 16000 miles on the build, same oil pressure and runs great.

If you are thinking of a big bore KIT, look on eBay. House of Harley (south of Milwaukee) has been selling them for around $550 or so I think.

Howdy,

Here is the reason I went with the Feuling pump and cam plate in my 95 C.I. build,

Billet Plate

The Feuling plate offers much more of a compatible system over the H-D units,

I had my cylinders and heads sent to Branch-O'Keefe for their expertise, cylinders were bored and the heads were re-worked, 9:5 to 1 CR with Branch pistons and Cometic gaskets

Feuling pump and cam plate, S&S cam Gear Drive with Branch cams,

Stock pipes for low end grunt and Kerker Mufflers with the "Mikuni Baffle"

True Duals would have most likely given me 100 HP, but I ride two up with a lot of luggage so I preferred the low end grunt,

Good Luck,

What is the cost of doing a 95 kit with cam upgrade?
