We wear HCI 100 DOT helmets when we have to and they're great. Light, small, cheap and no shroom head whatsoever.

I have a "ZOX" old school helmet and it is the best I've ever had for comfort and small profile and they only cost about $45.00 and are DOT approved.
I guess the advantage to getting older is you don't give a **** what you look like or whether you wear a helmet or not. I just don't care about other peoples opinions of me.

After reading this I went to the motorcycle superstore website and ordered a Vega XTS and a skid lid, as well as some goggles. My full face helmet (HJC) is XXXL, and seems the open faces could be smaller, so I ordered XXL ( biggest size Vega makes the XTS).Ill report back when they come in.
