Theyre are alot of rumors flying around and as far as i can tell H-D has already started selling bikes in India as of Jan 1st but i have also seen articles stating that H-D plans to switch some production overseas as well. By production i mean built and assembled not just parts manufactured. What have you seen/heard on this subject. Im still looking for the statements i previously read that said it was a sure thing about production.

The sales in India are a done deal. As far as ive read they are considering assembling in India for the overseas market. Hell im with ya. Ill never buy an indian made harley. I cant even stand to call AT&T cause i cant understand what the heck the customer service guy is saying...

If the story is true nothing new here, ' we'll make it easier to sell ( no import duties) if you give us a piece of the action ( some of the manufacturing).

OH I think building them building them in the good ol USA and then shipping them overseas if far more cost effective And from what I understand there are more than a few thousand people living in India...something like 1.3 BILLION...Good on HD
