Default Ever Done Testy - Festy?

At least once in your life you owe it to yourself to do 'Testy Festy'! Good old fashioned adult entertainment....a long weekend of depraved debauchery in the mountains of western Montana, just off I-90 (truly one of the most scenic bits of superslab you're ever likely to find anywhere) .....used to be held in the Fall, but nowadays its schedule fits in well with a trip to Sturgis.

Buckle up for that one, it's only 35-40 miles from where I live. It can get seriously rowdy over there. By that, I'm talking about a few stabbings, and a couple of shootings. When you say adult entertainment, you're absolutely right. Lots of folks, and pretty wild. Some folks swear by it, saying its the best times they've ever had. Others say it's a little too over the top. Just beware, the later it gets, the rowdier it becomes. It's an all night event every night it's going on.

It definitely brings together a 'festive' crowd. I've never seen a shooting or stabbing, but I've heard they do happen. I'm sure the Rock Creek Chamber of Commerce (if it existed) would insist that shootings and stabbings don't occur every year, and that the vast majority of participants manage to enjoy the party without suffering a single unwanted bodily penetration. [No warranties expressed or implied regarding transmission of STD's]. I've seen people picked up and thrown out of the 'resort' if they make the extreme faux pas of reaching up and touching a 'participant'. Even at Testy Festy there's a code of conduct.

At least you don't have to worry about some yahoos bringing their kids in and getting upset about what's going on (which is what ruined downtown Sturgis).....no kids allowed at Testy Festy. Weapons are also not allowed, but that's probably more of a suggestion....this is the wild west, remember....everyone's armed.

No Thanks, I'll pass and just head over to The Beartooth Rally in Redlodge.

Yeah, it's got Beartooth Pass going for it, and the little woman might not enjoy Testy Festy.

Two years ago on the way to Sturgis, we stopped off at Rock Creek to see what it was all about (aboot for you Canucks) The place looked like a garbage dump. Trash, debris all over the place as far as we could see. I found out we missed the festival by two days. All I got to say is there must have been one hell of a party going on.
I'm puttin the Testy Festy on my bucket list!

Attaboy! Plan on camping....the cops sit out on the road just waiting for people to wander out into their domain after a few beers....and the darker it gets, the wilder it gets.

One of the greatest joys of Testy Festy is bringing somebody new, and watching their reaction.

It's only the 'wild west' when flatlanders come and bring their toys to play new millennium cowboy or whatever.

Rock Creek is a nice enough area. Some good fishing in those parts. Real good.

Red Lodge is a gem. Great little town, in any season. Awesome local brewery.

The rally there is also a lot of fun. If you're looking for 'fun', try the Snow Creek Saloon, any time of the year. It can get pretty....exciting in there
