I am getting so anxious to ride lately I actually went and bought a full face helmet today. I figure that should keep me warmer than my non-DOT skid lid. Off I go to try it out

you can't go wrong with a new lid .... are you wearing it around the house ?

I got a full face for winter riding last year, but just can't get used to it. Therefore, I still wear my beanie and cover my face if it is too cold.

 

Yeah I keep contemplating the full face. I procrastinate then go out and ride with my half and think damn why didn't I buy the full face....still haven't bought one. time to go look again

 

I've got a new 3/4 carbon fiber headed my way from extremesupply.com. Sure hope I like it.

 

Dont really know why,,, I just don't like-em, FF that is, Always had a 3/4, here we don't gotta wear one,, and don't most of the time...Live in a Smaller town and ride mostly in country. very very, little traffic.

 

The thing to do is to ride over to the dealership while wearing the 1/2 on a particularly cold day. When you get there the FF variety will look immensely better.

 

I have to go drop my bike off at my buddy's house this afternoon. We are powdercoating the forks, engine guards and air cleaner. Then we are installing J&M speakers, new bars/grips and V&H pipes. Oh and let's not forget, Harley Goodies floorboard extenders and a Klockwerks 8" shield. Unfortunately it is about 30 degrees outside and he is about a half hour away...Brrrr. So the full face will get the test today...will update if it was worth it

 

What an investment. If I get myself a pair of leather gloves and a pair of long johns I will ride all winter long. My face wasn't cold at all.
