Default Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2

I have a 2010 softail deluxe. Looking to get new exhaust and thinking of Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2. Anyone have the same style of bike with these pipes, and how do you like them, or are you sorry you purchased them? My other thought was going with V & H Double Barrel staggered pipes. Any thoughts on the matter would be great. Thanks.

I take delivery of my Fatbob in April and will switch to the big rad as I feel the new standard pipes are just too quiet - I think the standard 2010 pipes are even more refined now due to noise restrictions - I was beside a brand new Fatboy Lo the other day and to be honest it was "very quiet" at tick over for Harley standards - Has anybody else noticed that?

I was about to post the exact same thread, about these pipes. I currently have a ThunderHeader on my softail. I want MORE sound, better looks, but I also want to keep the performance and horsepower aspect of quality constructed pipes.

Are the Big Radius pipes pretty loud (maybe a silly question) ?
If not, are the removable baffles "workable" and able to be opened up a little for more volume, without losing alot of back pressure?

I think they would look great on my bike, but do not want to sacrifice performance just for mere "looks".

Thanks to any and all that my respond to my questions, and my apology to DD for temporarily hijacking the thread.

They are loud with the stock baffles in. I have heard louder, but they are as loud as I am ok with before it is just rediculous.

My brother is running them on his Night Train. I would say they are quite loud. Baffles are removable, we replaced them with BCT baffle. Beautiful pipes, fit and finish is second to none. However, I must say he is disappointed with them in the sense that everyone in our area seems to be running the same pipe. Everywhere you look it V&H Big Radius.

Not a Softail, but I love mine on my Street Bob – couldn’t picture any other pipes on it now.

For what it’s worth…..here’s some video of my pipes with sound:
