'00 Heritage @ 105MPH

 

I have an '06 E-Glide Classic. Had it up to 85 right after break in. Plenty of throttle left, but I did not want to go faster. I don't give a damn about riding fast anyway. Can't enjoy the ride acting like a make-believe racer.

 

03 nightrain , went to utah two weaks back and toped out at 115 MPH .... It was a short burst of speed and crazyness but it felt great

 

Heritage Softail, fastest I've gone is 95 mph, don't know why but going fast on bikes scares the heck out of me, snowmobiles is a whole another story, 126 mph across a frozen lake, no big thing.
Like the old saying goes "i like going fast, it's the crashin & burnin that I can do without"

 

Speed ain't my thang but I have had it up to 110mph. The bike was willing to go faster but I wasn't.

 

Most truthful responses will be around 100 mph, plus or minus 10 mph and that is pretty realistic. When I hear guys bragg about running 120, 125 mph on their Harleys I have a tendency to not believe them. Not that some of the bikes won't do it but most riders don't have what it takes to hang on to the bike over 100mph. Seen plenty of Harleys exceed 125 at the drag strip but your average Harley rider on an average Harley is gonna be around 100mph..

 

105 on the Sportster
110 on the Ninja

Both are what the speedo said so figure it was less. Both were comfortable and they didn't feel like the bikes were straining, but you know there wasn't much left in either of the bikes!

 

85 mph on my RK and really I am not interested in going any faster to see what the bike can do. However I hear that somewhere in Texas they are increasing the speed limit to 80mph. So much for the theory of driving 55 to save gas. It is a conspiracy I tell you

 

1980, 80 cubic inch FXWG, 110 mph.
