Default Sites from Daytona on 03/05

Well made it to my first Daytona. I was there on the 5th nice experience. I saw alot of people dressed to the max with leather, I really did not think it was that cold. I was just in a long sleeve t shirt and a sweatshirt. Now the sites. Did anybody else see the rockstar girls giving out free samples across from Bruce Rossmyers? Oh man they were hot. I was watching some sort of skills demo with 4 guys on Ultras doing figure 8's and some very skillful riding in a small area. Did anybody else see the Santa Claus driving around with the Fu#*%#@ reindeer bobbing up and down on the front end and then shooting snow out the back end?? I could not grab my camera fast enough. They were riding down the main drag in front of Daytona Harley. Also It was nice seeing an LEO pull over 4 boneheads on the rice rockets at Ormand beach hitting the rev limiter. The crowd starting clapping and cheering when they got pulled over.

maybe they wore the leathers, because they didn't trailer. This was my first time there. I expected to see more people riding there and back, since it has finally warmed up a bit.

It was ok. Everything was super expensive. I'm not really a fan of the traffic, either. I enjoyed the ride there and back more than Daytona itself.

I saw some stuff that was expensive but there were bargins if you looked, I found a few. I got a pulled pork sandwhich fries and beans for $8.00 it was actually very good. I also picked up a kids t shirt for my son for $5.00 and a short sleeve shirt for me for $8.00 and a long sleeve for $11.00. I wanted ribs but $30.00 for a rack no thanks. Also found free water at the HD display at the speedway next to the ultra clasic. I don't drink beer so I do not know how expensive they were.
