Question Leaking neck bearings

I have a 09 Night Train that i bought in dec. 09. I enjoy riding it daily but the hotter it gets the more the grease from the neck bearings leak out and all over me. The Harley dealer where i bought it says its normal and i have to deal with it. I have been thinking about buying some Hi-Temp grease and just pumping it full till all the old grease is gone but i dont want to mess anything up by mixing the two together. Any suggestions?

normal. i'm sure it's not all over you. but if you say so. was the bike recently serviced? probably so if it's blowback from the wind. put some miles on it and it will eventually quit blowing back. nothing wrong with it.

When they service them they often pump the neck full. In the heat the grease comes out. I am with you that it is a pita but it is also pretty normal.

I had the same thing, just wipe the excess off with a paper towel or something, it gets a lot better after that.

If the neck has been greased to capacity, the grease will purge out from the bottom.
Take a rag and wipe off the grease from the lower tree.

Grease fitting was added to combat the effects of pressure washers...older bikes didn't have them and would last for decades without added grease.
