Default Title RELEASING from HD Financial Question???

Hey, does anyone know how long it takes to get a title back from HD Financial Credit after payoff? It was paid off 3/5/10 and I'm still waiting for the title. Anyone know how long it usually takes? Thanks in advance, TJ from Maine

I paid my loan off last November. It took about two weeks to receive the title.

One bike was about a week.

Another was 2 weeks.

Paid cash for the last one and it took over 3 weeks.

Call them and ask.

Most financial institutions will take from 2 to 8 weeks. Are you in a hurry? If not relax. It'll come.

I would call to make sure they received your payoff. Then 3 weeks after that tops.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Hopefully it will be here soon. I can't register the bike for the road until it gets here. I just bought the bike 3/5/10 from the previous owners wife which they had a loan at HD Financial Credit. It was an estate sale and I gave the lawyer a cashiers bank check for the payoff and have been anxiously waiting the title so I can register the bike and start enjoying my new ride. It's been 10 LONG years since my previous 2000 Fat Boy was sold due to my divorce. Now this 2008 FLHX Street Glide is ALL MINE and paid in FULL! Now there's NO way to pry THIS one from my fingers...haha! Thanks again guys....Love the site so far!!!
