bagger wheelie's rear tire traction?
I am looking for some insite on how to keep my back tire hooked up to pull off a good wheelie. I have plenty of power (I do have to clutch it slightly)and no troubles pulling up the front tire in first and second gear as long as I am 2up with the tour pak but when solo and no tour pak the tire just spins. I have tried dunlop 402's and the new pirreli night dragon both spin equaly. The rear is lowered one inch with the white brothers relocation bracket and i run about 7psi in the rear shocks. Is there a better tire or suspension set up that these guys on you tube are using to pull off consistant wheelie's with out spinning the tire. Burnouts are cool and all but wheelie's are better.

93hp and 101tq from way down low. Easily pulls up with a passenger just lacking traction on the street. If I short shift at the track into second it picks the wheel up so I know the power is there. VHT would help but don't think that is the solution for on demand wheelies. I have looked for a sport bike tire in the mu85 size there is nothing out there plus I ride to much and would have something like that shreaded in no time flat on the interstate.

Maybe you should put a car tire on it.
Sorry I couldn't resist with the big car tire (dark side) debates that have been going on lately. lol

What do you weigh, about 100 lbs.? I have a similar set-up with the lowering, tires, power etc., and don't have a problem lifting mine to the point where the fairing blocks my view forward. I go about 215 lbs.
You should know......that's REALLY hard on the belt (and they're a pain to change out).
