You are going to enjoy the handling, looks and feel of the Harley much better. You will very much miss the power. The street glide can not hold a candle to the Honda's power withough massive and expensive mods.

My 1300 is faster and has more lower end than my Road Glide. Given the fact that I like long distance...the Glide is much nicer.... just slower and somewhat lethargic. This difference will be huge coming from the 1800

But to each his own.

Other than the power and the trouble free ride I don't think you'll miss it one bit

You will miss it until the first time you crack the throttle back on the Harley.

I thought the same thing, I came from a Yamaha FJR 1300, and I do not miss it. Can't figure it out?

Like others have said. You'll miss the power.
But,as I've gotten older the speed/power junkie in me has tamed.
I went from a Goldwing to a Heritage with the Evo so the difference was apparent right from the start, but damn....the HD just feels "alive" whereas the GW was just another motorcycle to me.
I don't/didn't drive more than a couple hundred miles in a day so the GW was overkill anyhow.
Welcome to the addiction.
