2nd bike - which one

The new Multistrada is schweet!
My non-Harley bikes are a Monster 1100 and a KLR (and an old beater Yammy).
For a big dual-purpose, I would probably go with a BMW, for the availability of farkles if nothing else.

My 2nd bike is now my 1999 Yamaha Roadstar. I owned it before my roadglide and was able to keep it when I bought the glide. Since I have the RG for longer trips, last winter a buddy and I turned my roadstar into a garage built bobber and I'm diggin the $hit outta using it as my 'bar hopper' bike.

well,
currently I have 5 bikes.
My HD (electra glide standard) general cruising, touring, or riding 2up with my girl (sometimes someone elses girl LOL)
my Race bike Ducati 999 (track days, racing)
my street bike Ducati 900/944ss air cooled rattletrap (general street use/sport rides)
My dirt bike YZ 450 (dirt, desert, track) probably gets the most use, along with my H/D
My old '73 RD 350 (old, dangerous, and super fun - just like me!)
I would look at the uses u want out of the bike.
As you can see, I keep a bike for just about every use.
A friend I race motocross with wants to do a 3rd world trip, so we are talking about getting some adventure bikes - we'll see ...
