I asked this question before with no responses. I did a lot of searching but came up with nothing. I was looking into adding a digital speedo display but they are expensive. I've resigned my self to just knowing the basic MPH to KPH calculations. If you find something let me know.

Actually I was thinking using a Zagg Shield and writing the KPH with a Sharpee. I have a Zagg Shield on my Suunto watch and it holds up to the outdoor elements pretty well.

That's not a bad idea...but I really don't worry about the speed much off base. On base they post both mph and kph. Off base here the only thing I've seen for speed control are cameras, if I somehow get above the limit I make sure to wave as it takes my picture.

As much time as I've spent in this part of the world I've pretty well got the conversion memorized.

Shoot, just mark your speedo with a grease pencil. Put a "1" at 62mph and remember that equals 100 kliks. Try a 5 at 31mpg and go for 50 kliks.

If I really wanted to change it, I'd go for one of these, but they're $300.

I'd be more interested in the tach than the speedometer though.

Well, thanks for the input....I'll come up with something....The Zagg shield will work or just a plain old grease pencil...I did find a decal but its square and really want something for the speedo....

Canadian Tire service area has them - it's a "metric speedometer label". I telephoned the service area of my local store to verify.

Canadian Tire does RIV inspection paperwork for imported motorcycles and the sticker is required to pass inspection. The service guy who inspected my imported bike was Harley-friendly and when I asked if I had to apply one of those metric labels to my speedo he replied "I wouldn't do that to you".
