Bike rental in Vegas?
We are heading to Vegas in September and would like to rent a couple bikes for a week. Know of any good rental places? Personal expeiriances?
Thanks,
Curt

I rented from Eagle Rider in LV. Its about a $20 cab ride from downtown. You can make your reservations over the internet, and I would suggest that you do if you will be there for Bike Fest (Sept 30-Oct 3). Had a great time riding in and around LV.

I have used Las Vegas Harley Davidson several times. Easy and nice folks to deal with. They gave us maps and advice. Bikes were new. Don't forget Valley of Fire Stae park, it is one of my favs. If I had more time, I would ride up to Zion National Park. It looks amazing.

I have not heard anything negative about Eagle Riders or Las Vegas Harley. Though Las Vegas Harley does rent 2010 model bikes (not sure what year Eagle Riders rents). Either way, I'm sure you will be happy.

Me and a buddy rented through Las Vegas HD.
It was pretty easy, rented the bikes on line. Everything was ready to go when we got there. Like others have said the bikes they rent are the current model year.
They gave us advice on where to ride. We were there in July so I asked which was better going up to the mountains or out to Hoover Dam. Guy said mountains for sure. It was a great call the mountains were 15+ degrees cooler.
When we dropped off the bikes they called the cab for us.
All in all pretty cool.

rented from eagle rider in phoenix once, it ended up being an older bike, wasn't impressed. I'm thinking they must be francised and quality of bikes depend on that. Since then I've always rented bikes thru HOG and the dealerships and had no problems and rode current models. It's a good way to try out any new models your interested in purchasing also.

Cool! Thanks for info. I hear nothing but good about both places. Can't wait to get back down there, usually, I'm there now for the WSOP, but that's a no go this year. We'll be there the first week of sept. Visit my mom and sister then, it's RIDE like the wind!
