I sure hope we can beat it. I'm more than ready to take this bad law to court.
The link you meant to post is: http://3edgesword.blogspot.com/2009/...ss-coming.html
It's an interesting read. Not sure why he had to mention ***** size at the end... seems to be a common denominator of critics of the law... that they spend a lot more time thinking about a Harley Rider's ***** than I'm personally comfortable with!

That law has more holes in it than swiss cheese, just skimming over it and I can pick out a few ways to beat most of the tickets that could be issued. This law must have been written by 3rd graders on construction paper with crayons. This is a terribly written law with easy ways out of a ticket.
You should be able to get out of them all with "Improper Procedure" claims. If they pass a law like this here in my area I hope you're law makers write it for us. No offense meant by that.

Taking a run up to Edmonchuk next month, hope I don't run into any hassles from the federalies there.

Can you imagine the bonehead resposible for making this worthy of paper.Has to be a lawyer.Write it so only someone in the legal profession can make heads or tails of what it says or means.Every LEO will have his or her own interpertation.Good Work, makes me proud.the very reason why so many of us are petrified of the legal system.

As I understand it, whatever the council passes (it really does not matter)
the laws of the Province will take precident. If your bike is legal with the provincal standard then the city can do nothing further about it.
