Default Making Clutch Lever Easier To Pull?

Daughter in law wants to start riding her own bike so she and my son got a deal on a new 09 1200 Sportster. She likes the bike but is having a bit of trouble with the clutch lever requiring too much strength to pull/hold/release. The bike only has a couple hundred miles on it now. Will the clutch get broken in and easier to pull or is there a mod of some kind that will make it easier for her? I've never had a clutch problem so I've never noticed if they get easier to pull as they get broken in.

You can get the Burly E-Z clutch pull kit by White Bros for sportsters. HERE's what it looks like. A set of the Kuryakyn boss blade levers are shaped for easier pull for women also.

Thanks dawg. Unfortunately neither of them will fit an 09 Sportster.

If you want to spend the cash, a VPC (variable pressure clutch) from Aim Tamachi will reduce pull by 40%. Most run them on higher torque motors, but they can be put in for stock applications as well. It runs about $300. HERE's the sporty model

There was a thread on here last week about a trike rider looking to make the clutch easier to pull. Some product was mentioned but I can't remember the name of it. M something.

Anyway it installs in your clutch and changes the leverage factor by up to 50%. It was only like $100 bucks and easy to install.

I know Magnum cables advertises that their clutch cables are easier to pull but can't imagine it would make a significant difference.
