Someone like dawg will know for sure, but I think the "stock" 103s last year used the same cam as the 96.

I'm pretty sure it's only a basic stage 1 103" with the stock cam. As for the se comp, if your putting out a decent amount of torque (over 100) the stock compensator will take a beating if you ride the bike hard. I recently did mine after putting in the tman 625 cams which put me up in the 120 range.

Sounds like just larger bore with higher Compression Ratio :

103 Cubic Inches

Debuting on the 2011 Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles, the PowerPak feature combines the new big-bore Twin Cam 103 engine with Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) and the H-D Smart Security System.

It's a standard feature on the 2011 Road King Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, and Road Glide Ultra machines, and will be available as a factory-installed option on the 2011 Street Glide and Road Glide Custom models.

Harley-Davidson PowerPak Features:

• The Twin Cam 103 is rated at 102 ft. lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm, a 9.6-percent increase in peak torque over the Twin Cam 96 engine it replaces, extra power for enhanced passing and hill-climbing performance when a passenger and luggage are on board.

Below are the engine differences between the 96ci and the new 103ci.

Like the standard Twin Cam 96, the PowerPak Twin Cam 103 uses traditional pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters, two valves per cylinder and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection.

Bore x Stroke
3.75 in. x 4.38 in. (95 mm x 111 mm) vs. 3.875 in. x 4.38 in. (98 mm x 111 mm)

Displacement
96 cu. in. (1584 cc) vs. 103 cu. in. (1690 cc)

Compression Ratio
9.2:1 vs. 9.6:1

Lubrication System
Pressurized, Dry-Sump vs. Pressurized, Dry-Sump with Oil Cooler

Engine Torque
92.6 ft. lbs. @ 3500 RPM vs. 102 ft. lbs. @ 3500 RPM

So it's just slightly larger bores and pistons? Is that the only change to the 103 engine? How can they justify charging so much for something that does not cost one penny more to build? Harley never stops amazing me.

What is the standard cam in the 96"? I thought they put the 255 in the 103" motors.

Only Screamin’ Eagle has SE-255 cams in there 103" CVO motors. What are now 110" CVO motors.
Think upgrades $$$ they might have same out 96" heads and not SE 103" heads. More $$$$

i'm pretty sure it's just larger jugs and pistons, no cam or head upgrade or you'd be making more power and would be less "eco-friendly"..
