After watching some Youtube helmet vids the other day and going for a ride in the freeway and noticing how many people i saw "on the phone" while they were supposed to be driving with a minimum of a hands free device.

got me thinking, if you can turn in a polluting, smoking car with just a lic. plate number and a PC, why couldnt i just ride around with a helmet cam, record the perps jabbering on the phone and then swing behind the car and photo the plate # and down load the video to the CHP?

that would frost a few cookies!!

NOW, if they do something to cause an accident or put someone in jeopardy then it MIGHT be a different story. Then again, They might see you video taping them and put you in jeopardy!

 

No matter what you do you are not going to stop everyone from doing this or any other dumb thing that we see happening every day. The best thing to do is ride very defensively and yes even that is not guarantee that you will not get hit but it should better your odds of not getting hit.

i honestly don't know what the answer is.

i almost dragged a guy out of his car this afternoon.

had a terrible morning at work, and to boot i'm sick to my stomach from some bad chicken last night.

was in my girlfriend's car on the way to pick up my jeep from the shop headed down a long road with a railroad on our left and side streets intersecting on the right.

we're rolling down at about 40, and this guy comes cruising out of one of the side streets, looking into his turn the whole way and NOT looking for oncoming traffic.

he blows the stop line by a full car length and forces my gf over the double yellow leaning on the horn.

wouldn't you believe it, cellie up to his right ear, left hand holding a cigarette!

we get to the red light at the end of the long road and i was FUMING.

got out (totally stupid) hulk smashed his hood (even dumber) and was in his car up to my shoulders letting him know what i thought of his driving habits.

all he had to offer was how pissed he was that i interrupted his cell phone call.

dumbest thing i did was not pull him out by his throat and stomp him with my boots.

flame on, i don't really care.
