Default Can your dog sit in your cargo trailer?

Dont have one yet, a cargo trailer that is. Was wondering if i cut a hole in the top of a bike cargo trailer, added snaps and a cover, if the dog could sit in it.

The real question is WHY? In motion? As a dog house? Just for photos?

I should have told you , i have a black lab. I seen a HD ride by me the other day, he had his lab sitting on his back seat.
Just couldn't do that.
HD side car is 10,000. A little much for me and id rather not have a sidecar. I could just see my dog in the trailer with an old leather football helmet and some square goggles on

It would be for just taking him on little trips. I think he might like it. Hate leaving him at home when im out on the bike.

Hey, do some looking around. They actually make a trailer with a cut out just for that purpose

I've been contemplating getting a side car for the Ultra for the sole purpose of taking my Greyhound for some rides. He'd love going on trips with us, and considering what it costs to keep him at the "greyhound bed and breafast" when we travel now, the 10 grand for a side car would pay for itself in a few years.

My dogs love riding. two or three up up on the four wheeler and one up on the mini bike, now the HD is only for me and mama, too many nails on the other ones. But in all honesty, one of my pooches, she is about 50 lbs I would have no problem with having her ride in the back. When riding on the four wheeler she will lean harder and harder on my back the faster we go.

ok, it's not a cargo trailer, but gets the job done:

I think that the trailer would be too unsafe for my dog to be in. seen and heard of too many trailer mishaps to trust my dog in one. jmho
