Default Great way to clean the air filter.......

I just put my stock air filter in the dishwasher and it came out clean as a whistle. Not sure if it matters, but I put it on the top rack. Dishwashers also work great for dirty baseball hats.

Good way to ruin a K&N filter. Hold it up to a light and look for small holes in it. Not trying to be an *** just lookin out for you.

I'm not allowed to play with the dishwasher.
OL had a fit when she found spark plugs in the silverware drawer.

I held it up to a light right after taking it out of the dishwasher. I could see light thru it, but no holes. Btw, this isn't a K&N filter....just stock.

If its the "no oil" SE one you might be okay. The gauze style id say don't do it.
