Exactly.

AmPat, take that as a merit badge for your vest......you did not "reset" the sky is falling, just read, or if you haven't heard "MoCo is moving everything to India" thread.

I know it annoys some people , but I really like when these threads do off topic (yes, even if it's my thread..) that's usually when they start to get interesting..

Only because it starts to get funny , and fun ...

And I like to put the "F-U" in "Fun"...

What are you missing? You've made the incorrect assumption that when they say "96 cubic inches", they mean "96.00 cubic inches". If no precision is given, then no precision should be inferred.

Calculating strictly by HD's published bore/stroke numbers:
Bore = 3.75"
Stroke = 4.375"

Gives us (standard rounding to two points of precision beyond the decimal):
Cubic Inches = 96.64
CC's = 1583.66

Now turn in your pocket protector! LOL

Cheers,
Kent

Yep, enclosed trailer with a HUGE sticker that says Screw It, Let's Ride on the sides and Live to Ride, Ride to Live on the back....heading to Bangladesh.......who knew the MoCo were "RUB, posers", allegedly.

I averaged 43.136 mpg using mid-grade on my last road trip. That was with an average crosswind component of 23.021 mph at 684 feet above sea level!

OK so it's 96.66ci.

All MC displacements are nominal.

That did it, AmPat is never returning to this forum....he is not taking this lightly, nor in good measure.
