Default Wheel bearing removal

Is there any easy way to remove the front wheel bearings without buying the $300 Harley tool? I have a Reaper wheel I need to pull the bearings.

try something like this.. its a axle bearing puller that goes on the end of a slide hammer.. they have different sizes.. check with autozone or someplace like that and see if they have it as rental..

or something like this..

I used this tool for several bearing changes on my bikes and friends bike.

It is not recommended to reuse the bearings after they are pulled from a wheel...As pulling them puts stress on the center race and the ***** of the bearing.

I bought one of the slide hammer type...it would not move the bearings on the wheel I was working on...got the pitposse one and pulled them right out. YRMV

Could you please clarify? If you weld the inner race you'll destroy the temper of this hardened piece.
