You can do a search to find out who bottles their oil for them. I doubt they make their own oil, so someone has to bottle it for them. You might be surprised who they get it from. It might be from several oil company's depending what part of the country the oil is for sale in. Exxon bottles some of Walmart's oil and sells it for less then what you can buy it from Exxon for.,,

Well, here's the updated Amsoil white paper, on 40 weight and 50 weight motorcycle specific oil. Royal Purple was last in the wear category on both weights.

Over the years I have run Torco, Mobil 1, Redline, Amsoil, Valvoline VR-1, Royal Purple and a few others I can't remember. The only one that really stood out was the Amsoil. It was the worst oil I ever ran and ended up draining it long before I should have had to. My bike never ran so bad and when drained it was like it had turned to water. I don't know if it was a bad batch or what but that was the last time I ran it. I have had great luck with Mobil products and tend to run them as they have a little better availability.

Down south, most of us here go ride and do our regular scheduled oil changes during the winter instead of just talk about it....
