Difference Between Gerbing and Harley Heated Gear
I know Gerbing make the HD gear but are there differences between each label's jacket, pants and gloves?

I can only speak to the Jacket Liner, I like Gerbings better because it has an actual plug-in terminal vs Harley's that just has a bunch of wires hanging down. Just a little cleaner setup.

Can't for the Harley gear, but I like my Gerbing's. I bought mine at a local store, was fitted for it and my liner works like a champ. I bought a jacket liner instead of the vest, it makes a great wind breaker even without plugging it in.

Another mistaken Harley basher. The warranty is the same and the prices are about the same with some items higher and some items lower but all pretty close. The Harley logo is a free bonus.

The reason I asked is because the HD versions are cheaper with 20% retailers but if Gerbing has a better product then that is the one I want even if its more.

From what I understand, Gerbings makes the Harley ones. Difference is the connectors as another poster has posted. When I priced them, the Harley gear was more. The Harley logo didn't make any difference to me, the liner is worn under a jacket anyway.

I remember one of my H-D branded gloves quit working after 13 months. The H-D dealer where I bought the gloves said I had to send the glove to Gerbing. And Gerbing replaced the glove with the H-D logo that H-D stands behind.

The quality is the same and the warranty is the same. Lifetime warranty on the electrical wiring in the gloves and clothing. Warrantied by Gerbing on both the HD version and the Gerbing brand. Harley also warrants the leather/fabric for one year which I don't think Gerbing does.

Don't know if this applies to you or not, but another nice thing about buying from Gerbings is that you have more choice of sizes and Tall's / Longer Sleeves. Don't think Harley's version offers those options.
