Looks like a monkey took a dump in your bags. How did this become your problem?

baby wipes are amazing also. They remove some serious crap. I have removed stains in carpet with baby wipes.

I would have scraped out the thick stuff, but its probably all dried hard by now. Go ahead and power spray it out, water won't hurt it. But do it out on the lawn, away from everything, or you'll be cleaning the splatter off other stuff. We don't have rain gear, we wear our leathers through all kinds of rain, just hang to dry, again: NO HEAT. Cows stand out in the rain all the time, no problems!!! Give is a good rub with quality leather conditioner.

If they were mine....

I'd power wash the hell out of it, let it air dry, and then condition the leather.

or

Hand wash with soapy water and an old toothbrush and larger brush, then wash with water and saddle soap and let dry.

In the future, NEVER underestimate the wrapping of stuff in plastic bags.

Sorry to hear of this, but in all honesty, this kind of stuff happens all the time.

This is too easy--contact that particular makeup manufacturer. They know just how to get it off.

And buy your wife a proper travel bag.

LOL, tell me about it!!

OK, its clean! Took about an hour and I used this giant pile of stuff, but I got the makeup out and reconditioned the leather 3 times....just to be safe. Thanks for all the replies, they were a big help.

I started with this:

And ended up with this:

+1 and since you don't have a power washer take it to a DIY carwash, then handwash with saddle soap and after they dry use a good leather treatment/waterproofing agent on them. Also tell your wife if it don't fit in her pocket it ain't going.
