affordable single rail trailers
Can anyone out there recommend an affordable and dependable motorcycle trailer? I need a folding trailer for my sportster for a couple of trips each year. I've been searching the internet, including e-bay, and found an "FMT" single rail trailer retailing for $795. Can anyone recommend this trailer?

A friend of mine had a Trailer in a Bag that worked OK and was portable. I bought an inexpensive trailer from Lowes and mounted a 4x8 sheet of plywood on the floor and a Condor in front. Works great, but does not fold.

Thanks for the information. Although I am considering the trailer in the bag, I think it's a bit pricey. The trailer you have sounds good but the only storage space I have is a one-car garage that has to fit a car, bike and trailer. Space is tight in NY. Nice Bikes!

You can buy new or near new 6-8' utility trailers all day for around $500. It won't fold, but you can stand it up, and they are useful for other things besides hauling your Sportster.

Kendons are great except that their ramp sucks. It's very narrow and flimsy.
They should come with a wider and sturdier ramp allowing you to ride the bike onto the trailer like the other brands (Aluma for example). For $2,400 new, that's what I expect.
