The MoCo is dripping anniversary models starting in 2013

Every year bike is an "anniversary" model. My '07 Street Glide is a 104th anniversary model and my '95 RK is a 92nd anniversary model. Totally agree they're worth a ton of money....

In hindsight, I don't see many 03 anny models on the road much nor do I see many 08 copper tops on the road much. Most I know who bought the 08's already traded them in.

Maybe they will ask some regular people to vote on the color schemes, or maybe even put different colors on bikes for that model. I can't remember any I've liked yet, was it gold/brown?? beige and something? Or better yet, knock it off, we've passed the big 100, what is the point until at least 50 more years.

No doubt the CVO models will always bring a premium, but because so many were made, it's unlikely the standard anniversary models will ever sell for much more than others. Buyers are more apt to be particular about their favorite paint color. Though when I was shopping for my Dyna, I was quite open to color choice, but had a short list of colors I wished to avoid. High on my priority list was getting the later bike w/ TC96 motor & 6-speed & low miles. There will always be a market for anniversary models, but condition and mileage will affect the value more. FXR's seem to be holding their value better and longer than most other Harley's.
