My GF just left to take her first day of the MC rideing school....
I say good for her....
Now the down side....
After she told me she is taking the class she was all happy, and ask me, after I finish the school and get my Classifacation, I can take you for a ride, Of course I said no way..Then she said she could ride my bike, again I said no way, here response was, I did not trust her....
I told her it had nothing to do with trust....
I do not ride Bitch....
And my Bike has the Club patch on it, you can't ride it, the same as you can't wear anything that I have with the Club patch on it....
Sorry but im old school....and thats my reasoning....

She needs to understand it ain't about trust- it's about not wanting road rash or a trip to the hospital. Riding bitch with a noob is nuts. No way, no how.
And her riding your bike is out too. It's patched and it's yours. End of story.
When you guys get the bucks get her a used Kawi Vulcan 500 or something to ride for a year or two. They're cheap as hell & when she drops it it's cheaper to fix.

This one's simple. You said GF, not wife. First question, possibility to become wife? If answer is no, then she only rides shotgun, helps you wash it, and is allowed to purchase accessory items. She doesn't like it, find another girlfriend. If answer is yes, it becomes a more complex question. How good-looking is she, what is her earning potential, etc.?

no way I don't believe a new rider should be doing 2 up until they have had some practice on a bike for a few thousand miles. Weight transfer, bikehandling is all different then being on a 250 for 2 days and getting certified. Let her get her own bike if she can, if not that's unfortunate. Great she is taking the course though.
