That is considered internet fraud in our state. We have opened a case with the local authorities to pursue it legally and notified the credit card provider of illegal activity."

More complaints then praise about their quality, especially cables, chrome flaking, wrong specs........

File a dispute with your credit card, they should be able to refund your money

Golf-- Good find!

OP--Guess you can chalk it up as a valuable learning experience. Reasonable due diligence would have led you to avoid a lousy brand & seller.

It is elementary to establish communications directly w/ your supplier, prior to purchase. Ask all your questions 1st; these should include return policy, country of origin, confirmation that ordered items are in stock, ... This process would have been your secondary firewall for avoiding a lousy business.

Thanks for posting; your thread might help others.

That would have been enough to make me look elsewhere. I really question how some folks actually "run" a business the way I do.

Sorry to hear about your problems and hope some good comes out of all this.

As has been posted before welcome to the internet world of drop shippers , chances are with 90% or more of what they sell they never see it first . Chances are anymore if it's not a huge name outlet like JP or a dealership your going to get the old white box china special particularly with an older bike like mine . Learn to ask a lot of question either by direct contact if possible or email BEFORE you drop the dime . It can save you some grief buying on-line .

I don't have a dog in this fight, but just for clarification I did a Google search for Hill Country Customs...the top entry and the following three consecutive entries was for Hill Country Custom Cycles. Yes there were also listings for Hill Country Customs Towing.

Other than the header on their website which read, "Hill Country Customs"...all other contact information, website address, email, etc. all were listed as "Hill Country Custom Cycles".

So there does seem to be a clear distinction between the two businesses.
Just my $.02...
