Well, it sure is nice to live in Florida and be able to ride year round, but we pay for it twice a year: the dreaded love bug seasons. Tried to ride today to my favorite country watering hole, Herb's Limestone Country Club, and got clobbered by love bugs. Normally they swarm in May and September but very thick already in April. Ughhh!

 

3/4 helmet with a face shield, and do not be a mouth breather.

Damn, I was hoping that the cold winter killed the little bastards. We haven't seen any up around the Tallahassee area yet, but thanks for the warning.

Took a trip up 75 from Tampa to Gainesville and back and yep, they were out in swarms.
