I was running ISO grips with the throttle boss on my old bars.
I loved them, but wanted to try something different on the new bars and ordered the Avon Air Cushions.
I never installed them though. I went with PM Contour XL grips and love em.
I gave the AVON grips to a buddy. They looked like decent grips, just not as high a quality piece as the PMs.

I'm running the avon's (black) and my buddy runs the iso's (chrome).
I've only had them on for a week or two, lots of rain, only logged 40 or 50 miles with them. But they are a huge improvement over stock (my old grips).
I must say the iso have much more metal to them, while the avons seem to be mostly made of their rubber compound. You can tell a big difference in the left hand grip when not installed. But you use grip tape with the avons, once they are installed they are solid and dont feel mushy at all.
I think since the avons have more rubber to them, they reduce vibes a bit better, at least thats my impression. I really like the avons for the price tag, got mine through zanottis.
I say you probably cant go wrong with either grip, but i'm really digging the avons at the moment. Huge improvement over stock!
