Indiana Jones 4
So I was watching The Crystal Skull yesterday. The movie took place in 1957 I think...does anyone else see any issue with the bike they used?

I love the look of the bike. I bet the slim would be a good starting point to make one
I caught site of the front disk brake in the movie. That made me go look for it online..lol

Seen movies supposed to be in the future, showing "electric" bikes that hummed - and had two cylinders with fins. Guess electric motors are gonna change... If you think Hollywood doesn't know bikes very well, pay attention to their airplanes. I would've died a long time ago if airplanes dove into the ground when an engine quit.

There was a scene where the frt brk master cyl was
clearly visable. Don't think hyd/brakes were an option
in 57.
Honestly, would a kid have a bike that nice (let alone
a Harley?) I wasn't around in the 50's . . . But I remember
the mid-late 60's and there were barely any Harley's around.
High school & college age kids rode beater Brit bikes & Honda's.
Another scene where they blew it was, remember the rocket/train
thing in the desert? The red LED digital timer display?
Other than that, the movie was totally believable. Too bad they
didn't find the 12/22/12 and up calendar.
