Put him in your saddle bags.---chop him in half and divide him up.
seriously i never even thought this would even be a problem.---maybe you could buy a bike trailer and resale it when finished??

I would think this would be the only way to carry a dog that big.

I use a Beast Rider for my dog. He's not that big, but they do sell them for dogs that size. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely 100%

had a bulldog in high school. we had to give him Valium just take him 20 miles away to the vet. If it were me I would dope him up and strap him on!

I think it's a really, really bad idea!Dogs need to move around, scrunched down for long periods would make for a miserable time for your dog. We've got a 60# boxer and a 5# chihuahua and I wouldn't even consider taking the little guy. We're dog lovers and hate to leave our dogs but there's times we have to,need to or just wanna get outa town for the weekend. If one of our daughters cant keep an eye on them, let em out, etc, then the only choice is the Vet's kennel down the street. There's also people that will dog sit for you or neighborhood kids wanting to make a few bucks.

I made this for a friend. The dog in the picture is a 32lb Boston Terrier. He takes the dog in the carrier while he rides two up with is wife. I'm sure it is big enough for a 55lb bull dog. The carrier has quick disconnects and attaches to the same posts as the tour pack. Just an idea for you!
